No accounts, no cloud, and no extra app to install on the other side. You just tap Start and you are ready.

The idea is simple. The phone in your pocket already holds your photos, videos, music and documents. So why should moving them to a TV, a laptop, or another phone need a cloud account, an iTunes sync, or a cable you can never find? Everdisk drops all of that. It shares what is already on your device, over the network you are already on.

Four servers at once, every device connects its own way

The heart of Everdisk is that it runs four servers at the same time, so each device connects the way it prefers. Nothing to set up, and nothing to install on the other end:

  • DLNA lets smart TVs and media players find your photos, videos and music on their own, with preview thumbnails.
  • HTTP gives anyone a simple link they can open in a web browser to browse, preview and download your files.
  • WebDAV makes your device show up as a normal network drive in Mac Finder, Windows, or Linux, so you can drag files both ways.
  • FTP works with file apps and power users who like a classic client.

Tap Start once and all four are live. A smart TV, a MacBook, a friend’s Android phone in a browser, and a file app can all connect to the same device at the same time.

Watch on your TV

Stream photos, videos and music straight to smart TVs and media players over DLNA. Your library shows up on the TV by itself, with preview thumbnails, so you can enjoy it on the big screen with no cables and no extra apps.

Put your device and your TV on the same Wi-Fi network, tap Start, and your phone shows up in the TV’s list of media servers. Open it and your photos and videos are right there on the big screen. A cable-free way to show a holiday album or play a movie in the living room.

Open in any web browser

Share a simple link and the other person just opens it in a browser. They can browse your files in a clean grid or list, view photos in a full-screen gallery, play music in the built-in player, and download anything. Nothing to install on their end.

This is the fastest way to hand files to someone on a different platform. Windows, a Chromebook, an Android phone, an old laptop: if it has a browser, it can grab your files.

Use it as a network drive

Connect from Finder on a Mac, from Windows, or from Linux over WebDAV, and your device shows up like a normal network disk. Drag and drop both ways: copy files from your computer to your device, or pull them back. No iTunes, no cables, no cloud account.

It is the clean way to move a big folder onto your phone, or to offload photos and videos from your phone onto a laptop, using the tools your computer already has.

No Wi-Fi? Use the cable

Connect your device to a Mac with the same USB cable you use to charge it. Files move straight through the cable, faster than Wi-Fi, and it keeps working on a plane, in a hotel, or on any locked network where Wi-Fi sharing is blocked.

USB transfer is the answer for the moments Wi-Fi lets you down: public networks that block devices from seeing each other, guest Wi-Fi at work, or simply being on a plane. Plug in, and the drive is right there in Finder.

Connect to other devices

Everdisk works the other way too. Find and connect to DLNA, WebDAV, FTP and SFTP servers on your network, including NAS boxes and media servers. Browse their folders, stream audio and video, download files, and create folders, upload, rename, move or delete when the server allows it.

So Everdisk is not just a drive you share out. It is also a client you use to reach into the other storage you already have on your network.

Manage everything on your device

A built-in file manager for everything on your device. Browse in list or grid, create folders, rename, move, copy, zip and unzip, and delete. Connect folders from anywhere on your device and work with them right in the app, then share them over the network with everything else.

Scan documents to PDF

Scan paper documents with your camera. Everdisk finds the edges on its own, straightens every page, and saves them as a clean multi-page PDF right on your device, ready to share or store.

Edit, annotate and sign PDFs

Open a PDF or a photo and mark it up in a few taps. Add notes, highlights, text and drawings, fill in the blanks, and sign with your finger. Your changes save straight back to the file.

On top of that, Everdisk has a full set of PDF Tools:

  • Compress shrinks a PDF, with an estimated size shown before you save.
  • Text Recognition (OCR) turns a scan into a searchable PDF, or exports the text to a .txt file.
  • Password sets, changes or removes the password needed to open a PDF.
  • Permissions shows what the PDF allows (printing, copying, and more).
  • Edit Metadata changes or clears the title, author, keywords and other document info.
  • Flatten burns annotations and form entries into the page so they can’t be changed.

Play it in the app

Enjoy audio in a mini player with a queue, shuffle, repeat and lock-screen controls, and watch videos full screen. Your Photos and Music libraries play right here in the app. No need to export anything first.

Share your whole library

Turn on your full photo and music library and every album and track becomes available over the network. Keep them in original quality, or convert photos and videos to a more compatible format when a TV, browser or other device needs it.

Send files back

It works both ways. Upload photos and documents from any computer straight into your device, and add whole folders too, all over the same connection you are already using to share.

Do I need to install anything on the other device?
No. That is the whole point. The other device connects using tools it already has. A smart TV finds your library over DLNA on its own, any computer or phone opens a link in a web browser, and Mac Finder, Windows and Linux mount your device as a network drive over WebDAV. How do I stream photos and videos to my TV?

How do I connect Everdisk from my Mac or PC?
Everdisk makes your device show up as a normal network drive over WebDAV. On a Mac, open Finder and choose Go, then Connect to Server, and enter the WebDAV address shown in the app. On Windows, map a network drive using the same address. On Linux, connect to the WebDAV address from your file manager. Once connected, you can drag and drop both ways. If you would rather not mount a drive, just open the HTTP link in any web browser.
Can I transfer files without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Connect your device to a Mac with the same USB cable you use to charge it, and files move straight through the cable, faster than Wi-Fi. Because it does not need a wireless network, this keeps working on a plane, in a hotel, or on any locked or public network where Wi-Fi sharing is blocked.
Can I send files from one iPhone to another?
Yes. Start sharing on one device and open the link in a web browser on the other, or connect over WebDAV or FTP. You can browse, stream and download both ways, and even upload photos, documents and whole folders back to the sharing device.
