Playlists section allows you to organize tracks in the list. Playlists section has a content view with all created playlists, more actions button "..." in the navigation bar with all available actions for the playlists screen and navigation toolbar with "Search", "Play all", "Shuffle all" buttons. Every playlist itself also has more actions button "..." near the playlist title with all available actions for that playlist.
Create a playlist
Tap the "+" button or "..." button in the top right corner on the navigation bar and select "New playlist" to create a new playlist and assign a name for it.
Once you enter a name for the playlist tap the "Save" button and the "Add songs" dialog will appear. In that dialog, you can select which tracks you want to add to a new playlist. All tracks are grouped by source type. There are several options available.
"Music library" - tracks located in your music library.
"Local files" - all audio files available for offline playback (you can add local files to the app by downloading them from the cloud storage, importing from WiFi Drive, or iTunes File Sharing).
"Cloud services" - all online files located in the connected cloud services.
"External files" - you can add songs located on your device in other apps to the playlist. Use this option to open a file picker to select external tracks.
By default, you can add the track to a playlist only once. If you want to add duplicated songs to the playlist you should enable this feature in the app settings.
Playlist detail screen
Once you open the playlist "Playlist detail screen" will appear. On that screen, there is more actions button ("...") in the top right corner with playlist options and three buttons ("Search", "Play all", "Shuffle all") under the artwork image with the "Offline mode" checkbox.
"Search" - perform a search in the current playlist.
"Play all" - add all tracks from the current playlist to the player queue.
"Shuffle All" - the same as above but shuffle tracks before adding them to the audio player queue.
"Offline mode" - download all tracks from this playlist to local files. If new items will appear in the playlist they will be downloaded automatically.
More actions for the playlist in the playlists screen
You can access playlist actions by tapping "..." button near the playlist title.
"Play all" - play all tracks in the playlist and replace the player queue.
"Play next" - add playlist tracks to the top of the existing player queue.
"Play later" - add playlist tracks to the bottom of the existing player queue.
"Enable offline mode" - enable offline mode for the playlist. In this case, all existing and new tracks will be downloaded automatically.
"Edit image" - edit playlist artwork image.
"Add songs" - add songs to the current playlist.
"Rename" - rename playlist.
"Delete playlist" - delete playlist from the Music library. This action cannot be undone.
More actions for the playlist in the playlist detail screen
You can access playlist actions by tapping "..." button in the top right corner.
Next actions available for the playlist:
"Select" - activate tracks selection mode if you need to delete several tracks from the playlist in one operation. You can also change tracks order in this mode.
"Play next" - add playlist tracks to the top of the existing player queue.
"Play later" - add playlist tracks to the bottom of the existing player queue.
"Sort" - change tracks order in the playlist.
"Search" - search for a specific song in the current playlist.
"Add songs" - add new songs to the playlist.
"Edit image" - edit album artwork for the current playlist.
Rename - rename the current playlist.
"Delete playlist" - delete playlist from the Music library. This action does not delete tracks from your storage. This action cannot be undone.
Change songs order
If you want to change songs order in the playlist tap "..." button in the top right corner and choose the "Select" menu item to enter selection mode. Use reorder control and drag-n-drop gesture near every track to move it up or down. If you tap on the reorder control this will move the track to the top of the list. You can also change songs order by using the sort function. In more actions menu tap the "Sort" menu item. You can sort tracks in the playlist by "Name", "Size", "Song number", "Album", "Artist". Tap "Done" to exit select mode and apply changes.
Change playlist cover image
Tap more actions button "..." in the top right corner and select the "Edit image" menu item. Select an image from the available sources and tap the "Done" button to confirm changes.
Add songs to a playlist
Open playlist and tap more actions button "..." in the top right corner and select "Add songs" menu item to open dialog. Select tracks and tap the "Done" button to confirm changes.
Delete several songs from a playlist
Open playlist and tap more actions button "..." in the top right corner and choose "Select" menu item to enter selection mode. Select tracks and tap the "Delete from playlist" button at the bottom of the screen. Tap "Done" button to confirm changes.
Track options
Every track in a playlist has its list of actions and you can access them by tapping the more button "..." If you don’t see all action please scroll down to make all items visible. You can delete the track from a playlist, download it, edit audio tags, and much more.
"Play next" - add a track to the top of the player queue.
"Play later" - add a track to the bottom of the player queue.
"Add to a playlist" - add a track to the playlist.
"Download" - make the track available offline. The track will be added to the transfer queue and will appear in the "Local Files" tab and "Downloaded music" section in "Music library".
"Edit audio tags" - open built-in tags editor where you can change track metadata.
"Open in" - export track and open it in another app.
"Delete from cloud service" - delete a track from the playlist and cloud service. This action cannot be undone.
"Delete from playlist" - delete a track from the playlist.
